!!!!CHAMPIONS!!!!
At the 2008 TYFA Championships, the first
game of the day was the undefeated BBB
team. At halftime everyone was on the edge
of their seat as the Falcons were down
6-0. This was the first time the BBB team
has been behind at the half all year. They
came out to play in the second half, with
#2 Jaylin Guthrie taking charge with 3
TD's in a row right up the middle of the
field. It seems the Steelers were so
worried about the speed the Falcons have
to the outside that they forgot all about
the middle of the field. In the fourth
quarter #7 Chris Claybrooks added the nail
in the coffin with a long TD. With the
final score 26-6, the kids gave coach
Driver a shower with the water jug.
Next up was the AAA Falcons. This was
billed to be the best game of the day. The
Falcons came out ready to play, against a
team that outsized them 2 to 1. They
marched right down the field, and looked
to be unstoppable. With big plays by #21
Dekievus Perry, #6 Quentin Williams &
#14 Waddarius Johnson. The Falcons went to
halftime with a 13-0 lead. The second half
proved to be a different chapter, as
injuries plague the Falcons. The Bobcats
manage to score, and the kick-off after
the TD is muffed, giving them the ball on
the 3 yard line. This led to another TD to
tie the game. With half the Falcons
backfield injured they couldn't move the
ball away from their goal line and the 4th
down punt is returned for the go ahead
score. The final score 20-13.
The last game of the day was the CC
Falcons. This was a defensive ball game
with no score in the first half. The
opening kickoff of the 2nd half was
returned by the Steelers for the only
points of the game. The CC Falcons
backfield of #9 Darryl Wiseman Jr, #10
Damion Baugh, & #13 Derrick Thompson
moved the ball, but penalties keep putting
them in 4th and long situations. This was
one of those edge of your seat games for
sure.

as three Falcons teams fought for the AFC
Silver Championship, and a spot in the
TYFA State Championship Game. Gallatin,
Nolensville & Shelbyville all came to
town and none of them could muster any
points, while the Falcons ran up and down
the field for 97 points total.

A True Commitment to Excellence!!!
The Antioch Falcons football staff and
players would like to send out a big
congratulations to the Falcons
Cheerleaders. If have never stayed in the
stands to see these girls perform at
halftime, you are really missing a good
show.
The Falcons Cheerleaders represented well
in the cheerleading competition winning
Grand Champion in every age group. The is
an amazing feat, but what is even more unbelievable
is that this was the second year in a row
to sweep the cheer competition. This was
the 4th year in row for 9-10 to be crowned
Grand Champs and 3 years in a row for
11-12. "We have done our part to show
the Falcons mean business, now it time for
the football teams to bring home some
championships" proclaims a Falcons
cheer coach. The cheerleaders will be
there to support us through the
Championship games, with their unsurpassed
cheer skills.

Most the Falcons had a bye week before
entering the playoffs. With 3 Falcons
teams holding the first seed. In Bellevue
the CC & BB had games against the
Steelers. Not only did the Steelers steal
our custom website design they also took
the undefeated season away from the CC
Falcons by handing them their first loss.
BB paid them back with 26-12 upset. With
great anticipation Falcon fans can set
back and wait for the CC rematch in the
championship. In CC the road to the
championship goes through Antioch.

10-11-08
It was a great day for the Falcons. Yet
another sweep was barley avoided by the
Steelers when they won the PW. So the
birds went 5-1 on the day. The two main
events were the BBB & CC, who both had
their undefeated season on the line. The
BBB Steelers said they had a mouse trap,
but Mighty Mouse & Chris Claybrooks
had a field day with a 25-12 victory. The
CC Falcons proved too much for the
Steelers in the battle of the unbeaten. To
open the day the AAA gashed with Steelers
26-6. Dekievus Perry led the charge with
over 400 yards rushing and 4 TD's. Then
CCC shut Bellevue down 20-0.

positions for the playoffs. AAA showed
their strength with a 60-6 (48-0 Halftime)
lashing of Shelbyville. BBB won 28-13. CC
ran up 26 and allowed no score.
Bellevue comes to
town next week.
Good Luck Steelers,

S W E E P - Again. The sweep was on for
a second week in a row. The Falcons team
made the road trip to Cookeville worth
while, by taking home a victory in each
age group. The day featured a 47-0 blowout
by the AAA & a 30-0 route by the BBB.
The Falcons teams scored 133 points and
only allowed 25 on the day.

S W E E P. The sweep was on for the
Falcons teams, during our Homecoming. CC
buried Grassland 38-0. Then the BBB had
one of the most exciting games of the year
with a double overtime victory. Then the
AAA came out and rolled over the Cobras
with a 27-6 halftime score.
All the teams would
like to thank the fans for such great
support. There was a high school type
atmosphere for the final games. We now
know Falcons fans can really make some
noise.

9-6-08
It was a great day for football for our
first Home Game at Antioch High School.
The newly resurfaced field looked great.
The BBB & CC Falcons preformed another
one of their slaughtering of an AFC Gold
team, as they beat Waverly Belmont BBB
26-0 & Gallatin CC 32-6. CCC Falcons
got thier first win of the season 12-0
over the bulldogs. PW fell short
13-6.
AAA Falcons had a
battle in a defensive slobber knocker.
With neither defense allowing any points
in the second half, the game was decided
on a interception leading to a score,
right before halftime. What a game!
Next up is the
Gallatin Green Wave for the triples &
CC with a Bye for
BB. Good Luck & GO FALCONS!

The CC Falcons had their first game in
Gallatin with a crushing 25-0 victory over
the Green Wave. I am sure the Gallatin
teams are having nightmares about all the
falcons teams coming to town in two weeks.
The triple Falcons teams had a
mixed day
at Nolensville going 2-2 for the day. Our
AAA & BBB destroyed the Panthers with
41-0 and 40-6 wins.
Next up is our
first home game versus the Waverly Belmont
Bulldogs for the triples,
Gallatin for CC & Bellevue for
BB. Good Luck & GO FALCONS!
